TASTING  NOTES

Bright and intense red with purple hues. Dark red fruit aromas with cocoa notes and spices. On the palate, the wine is medium to thick with round and smooth tannins.

THE WINERY

Matetic Vineyards is organic and biodynamic producer from Chile. The story of the winery begins in 1999 when the Matetic family decided to diversify their business ventures and enter the world of wine, confident in the virtues of the climate and soils in the Rosario Valley.

VINEYARDS

The grapes are sourced from older vines grown in El Rosario. The vineyards are planted on varied slopes with exposition to the full sun. The predominant soils are of granite and colluvial origin, with good drainage.

VINIFICATION

The grapes are hand harvested ensuring that only ripe fruit underwent a prefermentative cold maceration for seven days followed by alcoholic fermentation.

Ageing: 18 months in French oak barrels
