Domaine de Montille Puligny Montrachet Le Cailleret Premier Cru
TASTING NOTES
Wine of admirable substance and depth, yet also an extraordinary balance, with citrus fruits and just a suggestion of honey on the nose, a bit of creamy richness from the maturation in 30% new casks, and impressive minerally salinity on the future that combine to produce a wine of depth and balance with a marvelous lingering finish.
THE WINERY
The estate has passed down through several generations of the Montille family. Hubert de Montille, Étienne's father, was instrumental in establishing the domaine's reputation for producing exceptional wines.
