THE WINERY
Domaine des Malandes is a family estate,
combining traditional winemaking with the best modern equipment. The care and
respect brought to the vinification process and also to the various locations
of their plots contribute largely to the finesse of the wines, resulting
in high quality wines which achieve many International awards.
VINEYARDS
The Domaine produces wine from 29Ha
of vineyards in the Chablis region. Each one of the vineyards has a
different soil and exposition. Therefore each wine has its own individual
characteristics.
WINEMAKING
80% stainless steel tanks, 20% old oak
barrels (average 2 years).The fermentation process is under controlled
temperature of 18 degrees. Followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing: Seven to twelve months
in stainless steel tanks.
