TASTING  NOTES 

Some honeymelon, smoke, a dash of Cassis. Already very smooth, yet intense. Firmly structured, offering good, ripe acidity and showing some ripe stonefruit, completed by a herbal touch.

THE WINERY 

Joh. Jos. Prüm was founded in 1911 by Johann Josef Prüm. It is one of the finest estates in Mosel, Germany and is amongst the top quality producers of Riesling in the world. 

 VINEYARDS

The Wehlener Sonnenuhr is one of the most famous „Crus“ on the middle Moselle and with its south/southwest orientation, the deep slate soils and a steepness of up to 70% virtually predestined for the cultivation of the Riesling grape. 

VINIFICATION

Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks

FOOD PAIRING

Young as an aperitif wine, cold appetizers, salads, Asian cuisine, aged it goes well with white meat or fish.
