THE WINERY
Domaine du Pelican was founded by renowned winemaker Guillaume d'Angerville in 2012. Guillaume d'Angerville is also the owner of the prestigious Burgundy estate Domaine Marquis d'Angerville. Domaine du Pelican embraces a philosophy of terroir-driven winemaking, aiming to capture the essence of the Jura region in their wines. They focus on expressing the nuances of each vineyard site and grape variety, resulting in wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the Jura terroir
VINEYARDS
The winery follows organic and biodynamic farming practices, avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals and focusing on sustainable viticulture. This approach allows the grapes to express their natural flavors and aromas, resulting in wines that are both vibrant and reflective of their terroir.
VINIFICATION
Ageing: in 350L and 500L barrels (of which 5% are new) for about 30% of the crop.
